Let Me Introduce Myself

It's always scary venturing out into parts unknown. This is especially true for someone like myself, who never was great with social situations. When toying with the idea of creating this site, however, I remembered an affirmation I found while mindlessly scrolling Twitter one evening: "Just make it exist first. You can always make it good later." At that moment, I quickly downloaded the Zonelets starter pack, to force myself to make that first step. To "make it exist."

And now, here we are.

I think I had a blog when I was much younger, using Blogger, but I have long forgotten what it was about. There's a part of me that greatly misses that time in my life when I was much more willing to explore this crazy new place called "The Internet." Since then, however, I've found less and less opportunities to express myself. Here, I hope to get back into the swing of things by focusing on the one part of making old YouTube videos that I always used to love: writing.

Who I Am

My name is Brenden. I'm 22 years old, I love math, I have an obsession with Sonic the Hedgehog and Deltarune, and I'm always looking to find something new to love. I've always considered myself to have an analytical thought process from a young age - I am convinced that there is a reason for everything. I suppose it makes sense that I got my Bachelor's in mathematics, then - that field is all about analysis and logical thinking. I'm looking forward to being able to share my stream of consciousness with you all!

This is a post that's shorter than what I anticipate writing in the future, but it's always nice to break the ice with a bit of a personal introduction. Look forward to a more structured post in the near future about... well, I'm not sure yet. Probably about the possibly soon-to-be-announced Sonic game! (I can't wait)
